For an unexpected twist on a old tradition, hang this from your fireplace mantel for a FUN way to greet your family, guests and goblins!

 The Witches Boot has been  sewed, painted and grunged, completely laced up, using old buttons and twine.

The attached black and tan stocking is filled to the brim with Sweet Annie. 

 A Primitive Halloween  black cat with button eyes and whiskers  was sewn, painted and grunged and attached  to a stick with rusty bells..reminds me of the old Halloween Shakers. You can not help but smile when you see him!

 Also added,  was a  grungy flat pumpkin and a Tag that reads: COME IN FOR A SPELL.

The boot and stocking alone are 15 1/2" tall...8 1/2" across the front.

The  Sweet Annie , Cat and Pumpkin arrangement have  been secured to a foam piece inside the boot. The total height of the piece is approx 24".

 A Grinning Primitive Jack o Lantern  was sewn, painted and grunged and attached  to a stick with rusty bells..reminds me of the old Halloween Shakers.

 Also added,was Jacks's friend..the Grungy Ole Crow. The Crow has been sewed,painted and grunged and wears a wood sign around his neck that read: TRICK OR TREAT.

I have taken a reproduction of a granite cup and based the sides in Ivory Crackle. I painted a Saltbox Village scene around the cup featuring the Quilts on a Clothesline. I added 5 Vintage Round Clothespins that I have painted Sheep and 5 of our Grungy Cinnamon Pins and cinnabun scented Rose Hips. . A very Charming piece for your Laundry Room!

The small rack has been sprayed Colonial Black and distressed. It is 10 1/2" tall...8 1/2" across the front.

The Mini wood bowls are 3 1/2" diameter. They have been sprayed Black and based Prim Red, distressing back to the black. The inside was based in Antq Ivory.

On one bowl I painted a Red Saltbox with sheep. The other has an old barn and Sheep.

The Wood Rolling Pin  was based in Antq Ivory with the Prim Red Handles. I painted the Saltbox farm scene across it. The Pin is 12" long.

I sprayed these Stove Burner Covers with Colonial Black and based the centers with Antq. Ivory.
  One of the large Covers features  a White Saltbox house with Sheep in the front yard. At the top I lettered: LOVE DEEPLY The other has a Mustard Salt box house with a Quilt on the clothesline. At the top I lettered: LIVE SIMPLY.

One of the smaller has a White Church with Sheep. PRAY OFTEN. The other has an old barn with Sheep inspecting the Cornstalks and Pumpkins. I lettered: WORK HARD

 I painted Pip Berry Vines  trailing around the edge. The pieces were antiqued and sealed with Polyacrylic for easy cleaning with a damp cloth.
 
 The large are 10 3/8" diameter..the small are 8 1/2" diameter.

The Salt shaker and Pepper Mill are approx 7" tall...1 3/4 " diameter at the base.  They have been handpainted in a Primitive Folk Art style.

I based the shakers in Antq Ivory trimmed in Colonial Black. 

 On the Salt Shaker I painted  a Mustard Saltbox house,  a Church, Willow trees and Sheep.

 On the Pepper Mill I painted a Red  Saltbox house,an old Barn, Willow Tree and Sheep.

I stenciled Black stars around the base.

The Shakers have been antiqued and sealed for use.

The wood Plate Rack was sprayed Colonial Black and the edges distressed. It is 24" across the front..the sides are 3 1/2" wide and the rack it 2 1/2" tall.
We added 2 of the composition wood plates that I have handpainted in Primitive Folk art style.
The first plate features a Autumn Saltbox Farm Scene. There is a White Saltbox house, Old Barn and a Willow Tree. The sheep are playing among the Cornstalks and Pumpkins.
On the second plate I painted Snow Scene. Two curious sheep are inspecting the Snowman standing guard over the Red Slatbox house..in the background is a White. Church.
The rims of both plates were based in black and trimmed in a Penny Rug Design. The plates are 11 3/4" diameter.

The pieces were antiqued and sealed.
